Hey All!
Just letting you all know that I will be going on the 62 mile trek and it is called St. Cuthburts Way (if you would like to look it up). It starts tomorrow and we are all so excited and cant wait to see all the amazing things that God has for us. I ask that you pray for safety and wisdom on this hike and we all learn and bring back great stories, and that we get to know each other better. :)
I would just like you all to know that today, I found out that a friend from school passed away in a car accident this afternoon, along with 2 others. His name was Sean White, I did not know the 2 others. Even though I did not know him well, we still knew each other. I ask that you pray for his family and friends, that God just brings them comfort in this time. Sean was not a christian which makes this even harder for me. I love you all.
Thank you,
Cerina

The 3rd week in.
God has shown me some amazing things while I have been here. Last week for lectures, we talked about God Nature and Character, and WOW it was amazing. We also went on a hike up Conic Hill but my goodness it felt more like a mountain! We also did a thing called Create, it was kinda like an open mic night, and where a bunch of kids come and hang out. I loved it, I really felt God saying to me to Connect with with them and hear there stories. We also did P.I.G (Paisley Is Great) where we did a barbecue in the middle of the square and handed sausages out for free. So that we could give something back to the community and get to know the people here.
This week, we are learning about the the Old Testament and what it means. We have been talking alot about the 1, 2, and 3 chapter of Genesis. It has been amazing.
Friday, We are all going on a 62 mile hike on St. Cuthburts Way and going to Iona. It should be a great growing experience.
Well I have to go the bell just rang...Time for Session! Bye! More tomorrow

Gods amazing miracles that go me here!
I would like to take this time to thank God for His amazing miracles! Here are the amazing things He has done:
Visa: To be able to get to Scotland you need a visa and I thought I sent in all the paper work but realized I hadn't so I went to Chicago the next day to hand in the rest of the paper work plus the photo copies of everything else I sent in. The lady at the counter said that she would be able to put the papers together but it never happened, since the paperwork that I sent by mail was sent back to me saying it was incomplete. So we just waited to see if we were going to get a response but none came, so the day before I had to leave for Scotland Mom and I went to the British Consult and as we stepped up to the counter Mom told the lady what had happened and if there was anything else that they needed to get it approved. The lady looked up where in the process my visa was and then she turned to us and said that it was printing off at that very moment and that I was approved! It was amazing! Mom and I burst into tears with thanks to God. It was a total God thing. He heard our prayers and He answered just in time.
The Plane Ride: This was my first time riding a plane internationally without anyone and I was praying so hard for God to just give me courage, strength and wisdom. As I just finished getting my ticket and on my way to the security I ran into one of my friends from InterVarsity. It was awesome. The weirdest part was when he actually sat in the row right in front of me, it gave me such comfort.
God has done such amazing things I am so amazed by His wonderful love and kindness and goodness.
Well off to class!
