Back from St. Cuthburts Way and The Holy Island
Well I just got back from the 64 mile hike of St. Cuthburts Way. It was supposed to be 62 miles but we got distracted by sheep and walked 2 miles out of our way. :) We got to see the most amazing sites and walked up the most amazing hills that seemed like mountains at the time. It was very hard work and took 5 days to complete. Unfortunately, not all of us were able to do the 5 days, everyone was sick, besides me and one other person, but 5 out of 11 of us completed the whole hike. We were so proud of ourselves and the other for what we have completed. Day 4 of the hike my everything was sore but my foot was the worst, I pushed on no matter what I made that promise to myself and God and I really believe I didnt get sick because of that promise. It was amazing! On Day 5, I was feeling better-ish and then when we were getting closer I stepped off a bridge funny and twisted my ankle in a weird fashion. I thought I was going to need help getting to the end but one of my friends came to me and just asked to pray for me and my ankle, right after that I was feeling so much better and got a sudden burst of energy and made it to Northumberland which is also called Holy Island. It was so beautiful!!!! (I have pictures up on facebook) While we were on Holy Island we had a great speaker (Andy Raine) he talked about our motivational gifts it was so fasinating. We found out that I am an Exhorter which is totally me no doubt. So after that, we drove back home after 3 days at Holy Island and now I am happy I get to sleep in my bed back here in Scotland!!!! YAY!!! Praise to the KING!!!
